So often, the treatment of skin conditions is approached in a way that is a departure from the body of Chinese medical theory and clinical application, with standalone diagnosis and formulas, this lecture will demonstrate that it doesn’t need to be so. This lecture focuses on treating skin conditions from the truly holistic perspective outlined in the classics, as an extension of the treatment of the underlying pathology that is occurring in the individual. This lecture will explore how to apply the systematic diagnostic approach and the modular formula system of the Shang Han Lun to multiple skin conditions, including abscesses, psoriasis, eczema, acne, rosacea, urticaria, herpes, vitiligo and more.
