ParticipantWhy is there no SDH in WJT? There’s dry, static xue, potentially xue loss, etc. Is it because SDH is too cold for the LJ, which could make a WJT pattern worse? Is the bitter quality of SDH a bit too firming for the Kd water in the case of WJT — where the water and xue in the LJ is already too cold, frozen, and static, and therefore not moving upward via the east to nourish the PC? Does this make any sense?

ParticipantLook at the lines for WJT, and then look at the lines for SQW. Reflect on how women are more blood, and men are more water. Then you will figure out where EJ goes and where SDH goes.

ParticipantYou’re referring to SDH being more water layer and EJ being more xue layer, right?

ParticipantEJ is sweet fire, so, Sp/Ht. SDH is bitter water, so Kd?

ParticipantIf it’s blood, then it’s not the heart, but it’s the….?

ParticipantSweet EJ replenishes the xue of the PC so that HT yang stays anchored, similar to DZ. Bitter SDH firms the KD water so that LV xue is nourished below.

ParticipantHaven’t seen him since as he reported through email. Urine still the same. According to him nothing has changed, but he’s said this before in the past only to find through more questions that things did in fact change. He’s hard to read and certainly focuses all his energy on everything that hasn’t changed and rarely on anything positive.
