Just a quick question to know if I’m on the right track for cheek bone fractures. My aunt fell and smashed her face on the concrete yesterday due to unseen wires which were a hazard. Should I be using WBLXS (post- surgical operation formula even though she’s not getting an operation)? Or possibly use a blood moving/ warming formula like DGSNT plus FZ to drive the yang into the bones? And will I need to direct it up to the face with the usage of ge gen? Thank you.

Yes, WLBXS is good, followed up with HQJZT+PH & WLZ, and FZ if needed. Another option is Liu Han Sui’s trauma formula.

Then, just HQJZT unless you have a FZ indication, then add WT (not Gusuibu)

Laurie Ayres: what is this Liu Han Sui trauma formula?

Good question. In this case, since it’s non-external and non-internal affliction, we go off the JG, and of course, I would expect Michael to assess the pulse and if necessary go with a for example CHGZGJT first. Intererstingly, the WBLXS postscript does mention the case for if the patient is afflicted by wind cold and therefore prompts to remove Sangbaipi, so I guess ZZJ just went with if there was nothing else, treat the wound/external trauma first.
