ParticipantHow is Shi Yan different from Hai Ge Ke, other than the fossilization? And is it easy to find?

ParticipantI ask because the Calclined (Duan) Hai Ge Ke can be powdered and used topically for burns.

ParticipantI have ordered the Shi Yan from Nuherbs – $6 a pound – never used except for this forumula.

ParticipantHi Richard! Good to clarify: place a small bit on your toothbrush and use as toothpaste substitute or adjunct. I spit it out when I used to use it, but maybe all those minerals will help improve sleep if swallowed….(ha). I’m guessing it was used as a mouthrise/wash orginally, but it works great with a toothbrush and no toothpaste.
