Chapters 20-22 of the Jin Gui Yao Lue comprise the first treatise written on the treatment of women’s diseases, and it remains as complete and relevant a work now as it was then.

This lecture will explore the modern application of this classical work, along with additional relevant strategies included elsewhere in the cannon of the Shang Han Za Bing Lun, so the modern practitioner can learn to apply classical knowledge in the treatment of such conditions as endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, and other menstrual, menopausal and fertility issues. We will also explore how male fertility issues can be addressed with a classical approach
