The Institute of Classics in East Asian Medicine has been actively providing trainings in Australia since 2011 with the first seminars having been offered as early as 2009. Between 2010 and 2013, ICEAM was based in the city of Melbourne and successfully hosted one full offering of the Canonical Chinese Medicine Training™ which culminated into one of the largest graduating cohorts in 2013.

ICEAM is now located in Sydney. The current director of  ICEAM Sydney is Mr. Jean-Paul Staats, himself a graduate of the Institute. Seminars are commonly held in conference space in CBD hotels or event centers. Through 2018, the Canonical Chinese Medicine Training™ will be held at the Embassy Events Center (http://www.embassyevents.com.au/).

All seminars offered in Australia apply towards fulfilling the Australia Chinese Medicine Board’s (http://www.chinesemedicineboard.gov.au/) continuing professional development (CPD) requirements for Australian licensed acupuncturists, and are recognized by the Australian Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA).
